Finances

Saving for something is half the fun of getting it. I'm not one of those people who will buy something if I don't have the money for it, just won't happen. So in order to take this trip, I wanted to find out how much I needed and how long it would take me to save for it. Food, car, hotels, (or B&B's) and plane ticket. I don't plan on getting many souvenirs, just taking a lot of pictures. I figured for two weeks in Ireland, $4,500. Then I had to make a budget. I figured out how much money I was going to bring home total until October, figured out all other expenses for those months, and then how much my credit card bill could be each month in order to save $4,500. So far it's going pretty well, I've saved $500, and am keeping this month's credit card bill to a minimum, so the bulk of next pay check can go into savings.
