Genalogy

I mentioned before that I've alwasy been proud of my Irish background. The trouble is, that besides my father, my aunt and my immediate family, we don't really know where the rest of them are. That's why I'm also working to see if I can find them. I've got a few leads, but I'm still a novice, both in tool and patience, but it's important to me to find them. We came from somewhere afterall. And are there more decendants here in the U.S.?

The Great Irish Adventure - Part 1

I woke up on a December day in 2009, the day of my 27th birthday. After reflecting on how old I'm getting, I decided that it was about time that I nipped out and saw a bit of the world. My natural choice was Ireland. I don't remember when this developed, but I've always been proud of the fact that our family was of Irish decent, and I've always wanted to go. So why not? My sister recommended a good book, Rick Steve's and so it's begun. Lunch hour is over, need to get back to work.
